I love to make egg rolls, Spring rolls and similar appetizers and wanted to replicate the Thai style dipping sauce served along with Spring roll at our local Thai restaurant. The sauce was somewhat thinner than other dipping sauces usually accompanying egg roll and had a wonderful sweet and sour taste. In the usual Thai style it was very fresh tasting and while little clings to the egg roll the intensity of flavor makes it perfect. [...]
I love this food blog I found a couple of years ago which is written by Jaden Hair called Steamy Kitchen. Jaden is a funny read, takes lots of photos of her work and I just love to visit her site (link is to the right). It would appear she is doing very well in the blogosphere and has now published her first cookbook and hit the TV circuit. Of course, I couldn’t wait to add her cookbook to my collection of 5,000 other cookbooks I thumb through every once in a while. Jaden Hair’s cookbook is wonderfully perfect because it has lots of pictures to excite the appetite and inspire the cook!

I love an easy to prepare, quick to the table dish that has a high satiety value. Mushu Beef Wraps fit the bill!
Mushu is a favorite of mine when dining in a Chinese restaurant and this dish captures the lovely flavors of Mushu and the ease of preparation that anyone who works for a living needs. Great dish for a week night meal! [...]

I love the freshness of stir fry! There are endless varieties of classic Asian dishes that are stir fried and there are countless other fusion dishes one could make. Great stuff, one pan, fresh food and on the table in minutes.
This dish is easily accomplished with a variety of beef cuts depending upon personal preference and what is available at market. I usually use sirloin or flank steak. My preference is flank as it has a bit more flavor but either way this is an excellent dish. [...]

One of the first Indian style curries I made was this very delicious, good for you Chickpea Curry. With just a few simple ingredients and some pungent spices the chickpea, and ancient pulse, comes alive with satisfying flavor.
When I made it last night Mia sat down for dinner and said “how hot is it?”. She was surprised that there was no heat at all but still tons of flavor. I keep 5 types of curry in my pantry and sometimes mix my own for a special combination I am seeking. This curry can be made mild to HOT and all of them are delicious. [...]
Succulent Shrimp, tender chicken and the enticing flavors of Indonesia – Nasi Goreng! The flavors of Indonesia are delightful and fresh with the flavors of the Spice Islands.
Indonesian Cuisine is influenced by Chinese, Indian and European Cuisines in the preparation of the natural bounty of fresh ingredients like coconuts, lemon grass and rice.
Nasi Goreng, literally means fried rice, and should be made with leftover rice or rice cooked the day before. There are probably a million ways to make Nasi Goreng and can easily be adjusted to suit your individual preference. Sometimes I used bits of broccoli or cauliflower and others shrimp and chicken. The taste are wonderfully satisfying and so easy to prepare. [...]
Thai flavors are tantalizing, crisp and fresh. Thai food depends mainly upon the very freshest ingredients and balancing the flavors hot, sour, sweet, salty, and bitter in each meal if not dish. The tongue is alive with freshness, the taste buds are opened with heat and caressed with sweet and salty. Each dish, if properly prepared, will entice you to experience another. Simple or complex, the flavors of a Thai influenced dish are delicious. [...]
Sweet & Sour Chicken, found on nearly every Chinese Restaurant menu, often thick, gooey, way-too-much-red-food-color. I have been inspired to create this wonderfully home-made, wonderfully sweet and sour sauce perfect for Chicken or Pork. [...]
My Fresh Cucumber & Mint Yogurt Raita is a perfect contrast to a hot sweet potato curry. A fresh chapati dipped into the cool mint yogurt soothes the tongue from the fierce, heavy curry. [...]
I’ve said it before, shrimp sells! People like shrimp, they are always impressed by them. Tender, succulent, sweet shrimp are great for salads, sandwiches, stir fries, dips and more and one favorite of many is Shrimp Tempura. [...]
